Scott comes back to the Cigar Box Studios, Inc. as the Vice President and General Manager after a fifteen month sabbatical to stay at home with his two boys Tyler & Parker. He has a long history with the company as he was
one of the original Cigar Box Studios, Inc. employees going back to the garage days in Meadow Hill.
As a young man Scott always possessed a strong work ethic. This drive and determination was evident when he achieved his Eagle Scout status in 1996. After high school, Scott realized that he wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
Scott attended college at SUNY Brockport where he graduated with a BS in Technical Theatre in 2002. Upon graduation, he immediately began his tenure at Cigar Box Studios, Inc. where he made every effort to learn the business from the bottom up. Scott has worked in every department in the company from warehouse manager, shop carpenter to project manager. He has also spent countless hours as the lead onsite representative for Cigar Box Studios, Inc. for shows including The Heisman Trophy awards, Glamour Women of the Year & Women in the World to name a few. Scott even had the opportunity in 2003, to travel overseas with a crew of stage hands, lead by Tony Menditto, for a four week load in on a cruise ship in dry-dock in Venice, Italy.
Over the years, Scott has worked closely with Gary Rausenberger, Tony Menditto & Mike Girman. Each mentor has helped Scott to hone his craft and learn the ins and outs of the theatre industry. They have prepared him well to take on the role of Vice President and Scott is looking forward to the challenge.
Scott has a great deal of energy and enthusiasm for all aspects of his life. He is a very supportive family man and when Scott is not working, he enjoys spending time with his three boys Tyler, Parker and Cooper.
